2026 ASA Divisional Championship

Wednesday, June 24th, 7:30am (arrival) - 1:00pm

Divisional Championship Information

Our league, American Swim Association (ASA), hosts a championship meet series each June. Over the course of 3 days, teams are invited to compete at Georgia Tech. It is such a fun event and a great opportunity for swimmers to dive into the pool used for the 1996 Olympic games.

There are no prerequisites for your swimmer to swim at divisionals, and all swimmers are eligible. HOWEVER, please note that this is an Olympic size swimming pool. It is a large and somewhat loud facility. The pool is big, deep and cold, and the distance from the dive blocks and deck down to the water is greater than your typical community pool. If you have any questions about the event and whether or not your swimmer is ready participate – PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO EMAIL COACH MARTY AND ASK. [email protected]

For your swimmer to participate, you MUST do 2 things by the DEADLINE on Wednesday, June 17th at 12:00pm:

  1. Declare Attendance like any other meet on the SwimTopia schedule.
  2. Pay the $50 Divisional ASA athlete meet fee through the registration tab above.  Click Register below the Registration tab.

Traditions on Divisionals Eve!

(shhhh.... don't tell the younger first-time divisional swimmers, let it be a fun surprise)

For those who’ve been Piranhas and participated in ASA Divisionals in past years, you already know about one of our most cherished (and slightly mischievous) traditions. This tradition is only for swimmers participating in Divisionals.

After the parent meeting and Divisionals practice on Tuesday, June 23rd, a group of pre‑selected older swimmers will head out on an important mission: TPing the homes of their fellow Divisional swimmers. (For the uninitiated, “TP” = decorating with toilet paper.)

Along with the TP masterpiece, they’ll also leave a personalized poster and a goodie bag at the front door. The older kids love carrying on the tradition, and the swimmers, young and old, love waking up Wednesday morning to find their yard looking like a festive, slightly chaotic celebration of their hard work.

If you do NOT want your yard TPed:

  1. That’s a bummer, but fine.
  2. Please email us at [email protected] so the TP squad knows to skip the paper décor and leave only the poster and gift bag at your door.

It's a lot of fun!
