Swimsuit Fitting Day – THIS SUNDAY, April 27th

Drop by the Pangborn pool clubhouse this Sunday, the 27th, between 11:30am-1:30pm for our swimsuit fitting. Your swimmer will be able to try on a suit to determine what size you need to order. You can place your order directly with our swimsuit rep on Sunday or order through our online site by clicking here (username: pangborn / password: piranhas). Our swimsuits are custom printed with our logo so they will not be available this Sunday but will be delivered very soon.

Parent Meeting – Next Thursday, May 1st

We invite all our parents to attend the parent meeting next Thursday, May 1st at 7pm, to hear directly from Coach Marty and his goals and vision for our 2025 Pangborn Piranhas family. He encourages you to read through the attached ASA Code of Ethics prior to the parent meeting to familiarize yourself with the document and be ready with any questions you may have. Crystal will also speak about practice and swim meet logistics to help you, the parent, feel as equipped as possible to have a fun summer swim season supporting and encouraging your swimmer.

Evaluations for Young/New Swimmers – Sunday, May 4th

All swimmers must be able to swim a full length of the pool unassisted. They are allowed to grab the lane rope or side to catch their breath, no touching the bottom, and no adult can be in the water with them. We will NOT have coaches in the water with swimmers to assist swimmers. If you are hesitant or unsure if your swimmer is ready to join swim team, Coach Marty will host evaluations for young and/or new swimmers on Sunday, May 4th from 2:00pm-4:00pm to help you feel confident in your swimmer's registration. New Swimsuits!

After many years in the previous TYR swimsuit design, the Swim Team Committee voted on a new swimsuit design. The new suits are the Dolfin brand and are known to be a durable and quality suit that could be worn for more than a single season. We also worked to select a suit that was less expensive than the previous TYR suits. Please note, as cool as it would be for all our swimmers to be in the new design, we want you to know that wearing the old Piranhas swimsuit or an all-black suit is also perfectly acceptable.
