The weather the last couple of days has not helped to warm up our swimming pool, but we must forge ahead. In this email you will find information on the following:

T-Shirts

In the past, we have ordered t-shirts in bulk for families to purchase to show their team spirit; however, it is challenging to estimate numbers in accurate sizes. So, this year we are trying something new....PRE-ORDER your Pangborn Piranhas T-Shirts!

The DEADLINE to purchase is this coming Saturday, May 17th. We hope to get the shirts back from the t-shirt company before the first home swim meet. They will be handed out directly to the purchaser at practices and meets.
REMINDER: Registered swimmers will receive a t-shirt with their registration. No need to order them a shirt.

Weather Notifications / Download Swimtopia App

Moving forward, when the weather conditions are such that we must cancel practice, we will send an email AND an alert notification as early as possible. To receive the alert notification, download the Swimtopia App and make sure notifications are turned on. Click HERE for instructions on how to download and use the app. Note that the app will also come in handy for swim meets because this is where you can easily see your swimmer’s events and their time.

Intrasquad Meet – Saturday, May 24th, 9am - 11am

We hope as many swimmers as possible can make it out to the Intrasquad practice meet. This meet is for the swimmers to get an idea for what an actual swim meet will feel like AND for parents to learn the various volunteer roles. Reminder - it takes all of us working together to run the swim meets.

The Meet Entry and Job Signup are now open. Please click HERE to be directed to the Piranhas schedule (see example image below). Once you are on the Schedule page of our website, click on the green Meet Entry button to declare your swimmer’s attendance AND click on the green Job Signup to select a job you’ve never tried before. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or issues.

Swimsuits

If you didn’t get a chance to come to the swimsuit fitting and you’d still like to order a suit, follow the Dolfin size chart that is attached to this email. You can place your order online by clicking HERE. (username: pangborn, password: piranhas).

Please note, as cool as it would be for all our swimmers to be in the new design, we want you to know that wearing the old Piranhas swimsuit or an all-black suit is also perfectly acceptable.

Pre-Season Practice:

Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 23rd, evening practice
- Monday-Friday
- 5:00pm-6:00pm, 5-10 year olds
- 6:15pm-7:15pm, 11-19 year olds

Memorial Day Morning Practice, Monday, May 26th
- Yes - there will be a morning practice
- 9:00am-10:00am, 5-10 year olds
- 10:00am-11:00am, 11-19 year olds
