To everyone that participated in the meet today:

GREAT SWIMMING!  I know it may have been a chore for some of you to get to the pool on a Saturday morning, but it was absolutely worth it!  The kids swam FANTASTICALLY!  Is there still stuff to work on?  Absolutely!  But the good outweighed the "less than" good by a long shot!

Thanks again to all of our volunteers!  Your stepping up, maybe in a role that you weren't altogether comfortable in, allowed the coaches to do what they are best at:  coaching and lifting your kids UP!

If you were able to video your swimmer, please watch that video with them.  Ask them:

"What are you doing well?"
"What do you need to work on?"
"What would your coaches like about your swimming?"

Keep it positive!  Many of us are visual learners, and if in watching themselves swim the kids can tell you what they are learning in practice, that can be tremendously helpful.
